Hillman Energy Center

The Hillman Energy Center is a proposed 125 megawatt / 500 megawatt-hour megawatt-hour energy storage project that will interconnect to an existing substation At peak output, this project will discharge the electricity necessary to power nearly 125,000 homes for a 4 hour period.

The project will be located on Hillman Street on approximately 4.3 acres of previously developed industrial land.

Safety

This project will adhere to all relevant codes and standards for battery energy storage systems consistent with industry standards. We will coordinate closely with local officials and groups, including but not limited to, Tewksbury Fire Department, Conservation Committee, and the Health Department.
